Privacy notice
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
Lunar Leap Technologies LLP decides how your personal data is used through this Site. It is the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the "controller" under the EU and UK GDPR. Its LLPIN is ACD-6585, and its registered office is at Crescent Bay, Jerbai Wadia Road, Bhoiwada, Parel, Mumbai 400012, India.
Vector CXO is a brand of Lunar Leap, and Ascelent is a practice within Vector CXO. Neither is a separate entity.
2. What we collect, and why
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, work email, company, country, workers on assignment | To reply to you and arrange a conversation | Your consent when you submit the form (DPDP). Steps you've asked us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (GDPR) |
| Optional answers: the leak you chose in the leak check, and any others you add | To prepare for that conversation | As above |
| The content of a privacy or legal request | To handle your request | Legal obligation |
| Technical records: IP address, browser type, time of request | To keep the Site secure and stop abuse of the form | Legitimate interest (GDPR). Reasonable purposes, including security and preventing fraud (DPDP) |
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The leak check and the calculator run only in your browser. Nothing you click there reaches us unless you submit the form.
We don't make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we don't sell your data.
3. Who we share it with
We share it only with service providers who process it on our instructions and under contract:
- our hosting provider, Replit, Inc., in the United States
- our email provider, to deliver form entries to our internal mailbox
We also share it with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. Nobody else.
4. Transfers outside your country
Our providers may process data outside India, the EU or the UK. For transfers out of the EU or UK, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the UK equivalent, as offered by our providers. Transfers from India follow the DPDP Act and any restrictions the Government of India notifies.
5. How long we keep it
- Form entries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Security records: up to 12 months, or longer where the law requires.
Before we erase data we hold under the DPDP Act, we give you notice where the law requires it.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards:
- encryption in transit
- access limited to the people who need it
- form abuse protection
If a personal data breach affects you, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
7. Staffing records you share later
Rosters, timesheets, placements, invoices and other records for any work we do together are shared only under a signed confidentiality agreement, a separate written agreement and a data processing agreement. Those agreements, not this notice, govern them.
In that work, your firm decides how the personal data of its candidates and workers is used. We process it only on your instructions, as your data processor. We never use it to contact any candidate, worker or client, and never to train AI models. You can replace names and contact details with codes before sharing. If we don't go ahead together, the records are deleted within 30 days, and we confirm it in writing.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
- see the personal data we hold about you, and how it's used
- correct, complete, update or erase it
- withdraw your consent, as easily as you gave it (this doesn't affect what happened before)
- object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable form (GDPR)
- nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or can't act yourself (DPDP Act)
- complain to a regulator: the Data Protection Board of India, your EU supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner's Office
To use any of these rights, use the form at ascelent.com/book-a-free-consultation and choose "Privacy or legal request", or write to us at the address below. We may need to confirm who you are. We reply within 30 days.
9. Children
The Site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use data we already hold, we'll tell you before it applies.
